Certificate in Food and Beverage Service Level 3 (Work Integrated)

STARTS: July 2025
Madras Street

Enhance your food and beverage skills in the workplace.

This work-integrated course is free if you’re working in a food and beverage business for a minimum of 20 hours per week, and you’re not enrolled in any other tertiary programme. This is a great way to upskill and gain a formal qualification while you continue working.

You, your employer and Ara | Te Pūkenga will enter into a training agreement that provides you with an individual training plan and regular feedback as you progress through it.

You’ll receive on-job training and coaching from your employer and our industry training professionals. You’ll also gain knowledge and practical training at our specialist barista labs, in our training restaurants and cafes, and by using our online barista training package. Then, you’ll be able to showcase your excellent service and communication techniques through practical, on-the-job assessment opportunities.
