Health Promotion
Health promoters have a holistic view of health.
Their aim is to achieve optimal health and wellbeing for all through sustainable behaviour change, supported by changes in physical, social, and economic environments. Their work supports the holistic health of individuals, communities and populations, empowering them to make healthier choices.
The incorporation of healthier choices in everyday life, alongside changes to the environments in which we live, learn and play, will reduce the risk of premature morbidity and mortality, while positively impacting on all dimensions of health.
