To enable students to analyse anatomical, physiological and pathological knowledge of the neurological system across the life span relating to clinical problem solving in an osteopathic context.
- Examine the relationship between superficial anatomical landmarks (surface anatomy) of the healthy body through visual and palpatory identification to the nervous system.
- Apply anatomical and biomechanical principles to an osteopathic examination of the nervous systems.
- Apply critical thinking to clinical anatomical knowledge to differentially diagnose common pathologies of nervous system.
