Experience Ara Bespoke Events

If you have more than five students interested in a scheduled Experienced Ara event, you may want to consider a bespoke event instead.

Important Information

• Nursing & Medical Imaging aren’t available for bespoke requests.
• Bespoke requests are subject to availability.
• Each event requires a minimum number of students. There is also a maximum limit.
• Every Experience Ara taster & STAR course has an age limit. Please refer to the Experience Ara website or brochure for this information.
• Half day bespoke events cost $30 (ex GST) per person and full day bespoke events cost $50 (ex GST) per person. Fees may be different for specific events.  
• A fee of $50 will be charged per day if notice of non-attendance isn’t received within 48 hours of the event. The fee will be waived if a medical certificate is provided (send to engagement@ara.ac.nz). For STAR courses, the non-attendance fee is the complete price of the course.
• Please refer to the Experience Ara website for STAR course fees, STAR unit standard information, Experience Ara event details and scheduled Experience Ara events for the year.
• Regular Experience Ara taster events don’t include unit standards or credits.
