The learning outcomes for this course are:
Plan culturally competent midwifery care in collaboration with other health professionals as indicated by the referral guidelines.
Critically examine the process of transfer in emergency and non-urgent situations to inform decision making in midwifery care.
Achieve selected performance criteria for Midwifery Council Competencies to the expected level, in a community setting.
