Apply knowledge of the pathophysiology related to dementia, delirium and depression to the nursing care of patients.
Utilise a recognised framework to undertake a mental status examination and apply knowledge to the assessment of cognitive function to enhance patient outcomes.
Critically analyse challenging and ethical issues in the provision of care related to patients with dementia, delirium and/or depression.
Critically reflect on the professional role of the nurse when working with patients with dementia, delirium and/or depression.
