The learning outcomes for this course are:

Explore the management of fetal and neonatal conditions that may require additional support for the woman/pregnant person and baby in the postnatal period.

Apply evidence-based practice to provide culturally competent care for the nutritional requirements of the unwell newborn including when breastfeeding challenges occur.

Apply evidence-based practice to provide culturally competent care based on comprehensive examination and assessment of the newborn.
