Description
The learning outcomes for this course are:
Use knowledge of the physiology of conception, implantation, placentation, and the development of organ systems in the embryo and fetus to support and facilitate physiological processes during the childbirth continuum.
Use knowledge of the anatomical changes and physiological functioning of body systems during pregnancy, labour, birth and puerperium to inform midwifery practice.
Apply practice-based evidence to inform decision making in culturally competent midwifery practice.
Use knowledge of the Midwifery Scope of Practice and professional frameworks to underpin midwifery practice.
