Review and discuss the nature of 'tourism' in general and specifically 'adventure and eco tourism'.

Investigate the historical changes which have affected the growth and development of the adventure and eco tourism industry and the present status of Aotearoa NZ in global tourism.

Examine and discuss contemporary issues within the adventure and eco tourism industry (including environmental, cultural and social perspectives), evaluating the implications for this sector.

Organise and participate in a tour/journey investigating a range of adventure and eco tourism businesses.

Define and discuss business structure for function of adventure and eco tourism businesses.
