Description
Identify and describe the aetiology, pathophysiology and presentation of major physical health changes in relation to the acute, chronic and rehabilitation phases, and evaluate their impact on individuals, family/whānau.
Analyse nursing assessment skills, including the pathophysiological basis of health assessment findings.
Articulate nursing assessments and analyse interventions to assist individuals who have altered physical health.
Analyse approaches to nursing individuals with an impairment/disability who have altered physical health.
Analyse and discuss the role of contextual factors on the health status of individuals, families/whānau and communities.
