Description
Identify and explain factors that contribute to providing bicultural high-quality care and education for tamariki using a range of theoretical, cultural, and philosophical perspectives.
Identify and describe the importance of respectful, reciprocal, and responsive relationships with tamariki and their whānau.
Describe the kaiako role and dispositions of providing effective and supportive care and education for tamariki.
Justify the care and education strategies a kaiako could use to effectively support tamariki social competence.
Apply theories related to play to plan for a high quality, safe and inclusive learning environment including the use of te reo Māori me ngā tikanga Māori.
