Description

Use te reo Māori employing common kīwaha phrases and whakataukī/whakatauākī.

Apply knowledge of the history and content of waiata by performing these in appropriate contexts.

Recognise and apply knowledge of the significance of Māori origins of the world and world view, and Māori social organisation, past, present.

Identify and discuss the origins of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and analyse its impact on Māori and modern society.
