Whānau Information Evenings
Learn more about Ara and what courses are right for you.
Join us on campus
Bring your whānau and join us at the Christchurch City and Timaru campus on Madras Street to learn all about Ara. See a short presentation about the Ara Advantage, our learning environments and subject offerings. Chat with our team, ask questions and get advice. You can also discuss study pathway options with us and we can help you sign up for upcoming tasters and events in your area of interest.
Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided.
Whānau Information Evenings can be attended in person at the Christchurch City and Timaru campuses.
What to expect
Each session covers:
- General presentation on the Ara Advantage
- Information on course options (including diplomas and degrees, study preparation pathway courses, trades and Youth Guarantee courses)
- Fees-free funding, scholarships
- How to sign up for upcoming tasters and events
- A short tour of Ara’s Rakaia centre (including learner services, academic support, library and careers centre)
