SQL Database Basics with Amit Sarkar
Gain an understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL).
This one-day workshop is designed to give beginners a good start in using SQL. No prior knowledge is required, as tutor Amit Sakar will guide you towards understanding and being able to read data at a completely introductory level. You’ll then be able to apply this knowledge to organise your data into tables, prepare your data for easy visualisation and develop a consciousness of data security.
Your tutor
Amit Sakar has a solid grounding in the current practices in the industry and is adept at creating a positive learning environment and helping bridge the knowledge gap. He is a senior member of the faculty at Ara and has been involved in industry and academia for the past two decades. His main area of teaching is software engineering, database development and work-integrated learning projects.
